The Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event took place earlier today, and fans weren’t disappointed with the huge announcements. Anime titles such as NieR: Automata, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, and Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai blew everyone’s expectations away.
The first season of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai was released in 2018, followed by the release of an anime film in 2019. But, there was no information about the show’s return for three years, until now. Although we don’t have any release window as of now, fans are hopeful that more details will be shared by the creators in the coming months.

The news comes directly from theofficial Twitter accountof the series, and a new promotional video has also been released to contribute to the announcement. The event not only confirmed the return of previous cast members, but also that CloverWorks will be returning to animate Season 2, with Soichi Masui in the director’s seat.
The upcoming sequel will adopt two light novels, “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out” and “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid,” for the next two arcs of the show, which might take over the story aftermath of the events of the movie.
