While some armors are better than others, players always look for new thing in them. One player has now shared an armor idea that would bring a Meta to these ideas, just like Stratagems in the game.
Helldivers 2 Player Shares an Exciting Armor Idea
OneHelldivers 2player took to the game’s subreddit and shared different abilities, asking players which two they would like to add on any of the armors. These included increased throwing range by 30%, 50% limb health, increased melee damage by 50%, higher armor rating, and several others.

User u/Bonkface said that more padding and explosive resistance together would be very meta. But added that if players go with“extra padding”and increased Champion of Democracy, there is a 50% survival chance when taking lethal damage.
The player stated,“Put a shield backpack on that and you can tank anything.”One fan added that players can make extra padding fit the armor pattern by considering the current armor effect twice that would make extra padding would become“+25 armor instead of +50.”
Another fan said that they recently swapped their light armor for the heavy one and they can feel this while fighting against the bots. The majority of the fans chose different perks as per their playstyle and also which one they would want to use against the bots and bugs.
Players Want the Armor Perk System in the Game
Several players have said that a system like this should already be in the game, allowing players to select armor perks and user the armor they want to. One player said that they have said this a multiple on the subreddit but have been voted down but this is the need of the hour.

Another user called the post a“brilliant indicator”of why the armor perk system is needed. They said that the players would be thrilled if they were allowed to pick the mods they wanted on their armor and it would also increase build variety. They added that it would“not lead to a specific overpowered combo either.”
Players have said that it wouldn’t be hard for Arrowhead to add this in the armory and players could use the perks as cosmetics. Here’s what user unmoogled stated about this system being in the game,“This would a whole another world of gear diversity, both aesthetically and mechanically.”
Helldivers 2hasn’t had the best time recently and thepatch also caused many issuesfor players. The developer should probably think about the armor perk system and bring it to the game, thrilling the fans like never before.
