Obtaining free Pokemon is always something that is great. Whether you are getting free Pokemon from certain events, trading with friends, or from the quests in the Pokemon games, you can’t go wrong with a free Pokemon.

What Are Gift Pokemon?
Gift Pokemon, as the name implies, are Pokemon that are given to the player as a gift.NPCs will sometimes give Pokemon to players throughout the game. Sometimes, you may receive a Pokemon just for talking to an NPC, other times, they will give you a certain Pokemon for completing a certain quest or helping them out in some way. Thankfully, The Teal Mask adds three new Pokemon that you may obtain during the game for free. You will certainly want to get these Pokemon while you can, especially since they are given to you for free by the NPCs. You won’t have to worry about catching them or paying for them.
All Gift Pokemon And Their Locations
There are three different Pokemon that will be gifted to you in The Teal Mask. Here they all are along with how to obtain them.
Hisuaian Growlithe
TheHisuaian Growlithe is a fan-favorite Pokemon(as well is its Kantonian counterpart). Thankfully, you can obtain the adorable Pokemon in The Teal Mask;However, obtaining it isn’t super easy. Instead, you will need to help Perrin, the new photographer, with her quest to capture pictures of certain Pokemon.Eventually, you will help her enough that she will gift you this beautiful Pokemon for all your work.
Shiny Munchlax
The Shiny Munchlax is one of the only Pokemon in the franchise that is a staticShiny, meaning no matter what you do, whenever you encounter it, it will be a Shiny version of the Pokemon.This Pokemon can be obtained through the mini-game Ogre Oustin'. In order to obtain this Pokemon, you will need to beat every level of the mini-game.
Sinnoh Starters
The final gift Pokemon is aSinnoh starter. Unfortunately, you will only obtain one of the starters.To get this, visit Jacq on the road between Mossui Town and Reveler’s Road.Once you find and speak to him, he will give you an egg. This egg then hatches into one of the three starters.
