Sulfur is one of these things, as it serves an important role of helping you to craft Gunpowder, an absolutely essential thing you will need to make ammo for all of yourvarious weapons in the game.

Where To Find Sulfur

In order to get Sulfur, you need to mine it, so make sure you have the proper pickaxe to do so. Havingat least the Metal Pickaxemakes this process a lot easier, as its reinforced build speeds up the mining process by quite a bit.

You can unlock the recipe for the Metal Pickaxe once you havereached Technology Level 11, and it will require you to use 15 Stone, 20 Wood, and 5 Ingot in order to craft.

Palworld - Mount Obsidian on Map

With your Metal Pickaxe in-hand, head to the game’s volcano, called Mount Obsidian, as this area has a ton of Sulfur deposits for you to mine. Now, Mount Obsidian is not the most accessible area early on in the game, meaning you will need to have put in some time to get experience, as well as come equipped with the right gear to keep yourself alive in its scorching climate.

Best Outfits To Deal With Mount Obsidian’s Heat

You can also go to the northeast corner of the mapto the Desert Biome, which seems to have a handful of Sulfur deposits that can give you a good supply. As with Mount Obsidian, it’s recommended to be a bit leveled up when you go here, but certainly not as much as you need for the volcanic area.

For theearlier portions of the game, before you are at a high enough level to go to Mount Obsidian, you may adventure into some ofthe game’s many Dungeonsthat you can find around the map. These are always littered with a good amount of Sulfur deposits that you can mine, and each run can net you a solid amount of Sulfur each time. The only issue is that you will have towait awhile for these deposits to respawnevery time you go through a Dungeon.
