Oscar Isaac has portrayed Moon Knight in the MCU, a character expected to appear inSecret Warswith most other heroes that have been introduced in the wake ofAvengers: Endgame. However, Isaac might be in for some heavy work inSecret Warsthe claims of an industry insider are true, owing to the fact that the actor is a part of the two other universes that have confirmed connections to the MCU.

While Isaac could return to play a version of Apocalypse inSecret Wars, there has been some chatter about theSpider-Versehaving a direct connection to the MCU, or at least getting a nod inSecret Wars, perhaps in a similar way that the MCU did inAcross the Spider-Verse.
Apocalypse, Spider-Man 2099, and Moon Knight could all be inSecret Wars
Industry insider Alex Perezhas cited that the Spider-Verse might be hinted at inSecret Wars, which might manifest as Oscar Isaac playing a live-action variant of his animated character, Miguel O’Hara. Spider-Man 2099 has already established inAcross the Spider-Versethat Sony’s version of the multiverse might be functioning on the same core timeline as the MCU, with Peter Parker of Earth 199999 and Doctor Strange even being mentioned outright in the film.

This could also bring Apocalypse from Fox’s X-Men Universe into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, upping the ante for the heroes who will join forces inSecret Wars.
There are a few other Marvel Legacy characters that people want to see make an appearance in the MCU
So far, the MCU has brought in a slew of Marvel Legacy characters from films outside the MCU, such asTobey Maguireand Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men, Charles Xavier and Hank McCoy from Fox’s X-Men universe, and now thanks to Deadpool & Wolverine, Wesley Snipes as Blade, Chris Evans as the Human Torch, and Jennifer Garner as Elektra.

These characters have some nostalgic value and a niche fan following. Bringing these characters into the MCU would not only serve as great fan service but also allow audiences to check back with some of their favorite versions of popular characters.
