The fight with the Gorosei in the Egghead Island arc in One Piece has become the biggest hindrance for the Straw Hat Pirates, who are trying to escape the island. Right now, Captain Luffy is trying his level best to somehow defeat the Five Elders, save his crew, and proceed toward their next adventure in Elbaf village with the giants.

Almost every Straw Hat Pirate has fought at least one Gorosei, be it Saturn or V Nusjuro. The only Straw Hat who has yet to test his power against a Gorosei is Roronoa Zoro, the swordsman of the crew. The most suitable Gorosei opponent for Zoro would be V Nusjuro, as both of them are swordsmen and have links to Wano.
There is also a theory circulating on the internet, which states that Zoro will not only fight V Nusjuro but also defeat him, which will finally help him turn his swords into black blades, which is the biggest power-up for a swordsman inOne Piece.

The Ultimate Power-Up for a Swordsman inOne Piece
Eiichiro Odahas introduced a lot of swords inOne Piece, and all of them are quite powerful, depending on how the user utilizes them. Among these swords, the strongest are the Black Blades, which are permanently imbued with the Color of Armament Haki and do not change even if the user is not holding them.

The only two swordsmen who are known to have black blades are Dracule Mihawk and Shimotsuki Ryuma. While the swords can be temporarily imbued with Haki, it’s not easy to achieve a black blade as it requires complete control over Haki abilities. This is why there are only two black-blade users in the entireOne Pieceuniverse.
Every single sword inOne Piececan be turned into a black blade. All of this depends on the user, and if they somehow manage to turn their sword into a black blade, it automatically increases the rank of their sword and places them in the big leagues.

One PieceTheory Reveals How Zoro Will Turn His Sword into Black Blades
According to a theory posted byu/EnggInventoron Reddit, the most possible explanation for unlocking a black blade is to defeat death itself. This is probably why V Nusjuro is not able to turn his sword into a black blade (because they are immortal). However, Zoro hashad quite a few encounters with death. He even faced the Grim Reaper in Wano.
However, at that time, he was not strong enough to defeat him, so his swords were not able to become black blades. Therefore, he has to get stronger and defeat an even tougher opponent to finally be able to stand against the Grim Reaper the next time he appears and beat him to change his sword into a black blade.

The Will of D: Eiichiro Oda Might Be Hiding Two Different Wills That Can Finally Explain the Difference between Luffy and Blackbeard in One Piece
The theory states that as V Nusjuro is immortal, Zoro might have to become strong and defeat him to finally face the Grim Reaper once again. This will give Zoro a second chance to beat death and ultimately change his swords into black blades.
