Kidd’s future is not looking good inOne Piece. After his devastating defeat against Shanks during the Egghead Island arc, many questions remain about his fate now. Shanks effortlessly obliterated Kidd’s fleet and left him alone. But with the character development that Kidd has had, it is not likely that his story will come to an end.

Kidd clearly has the potential to be involved in the main plot, and many theories are floating around about how Kidd might return to the scene. One intriguing possibility centers on Elbaph and its shameful prince, Loki. Loki’s offer to Luffy to kill any pirate of his choice if he is freed actually applies to any rescuer of Loki’s. Considering Kidd’s disposition, he might have taken up on Loki’s offer if he had been there instead of Luffy.
The theory makes sense on paper, as Kidd has had too much development to just end without putting up a proper fight. So Kidd can attempt his revenge as well as have Loki step onto the stage of Elbaph.

Loki Could Kill Shanks For Kidd
Elbaph has long been one ofOne Piece’smost mysterious and awaited arcs. With Loki having the title of being its enigmatic prince, Loki’s role as a giant cannot be underestimated. He is currently locked up, and his offer to Luffy when they first met makesfans speculatethat hecould be a key playerin Kidd’s revenge against Shanks.
Kidd could free Loki, potentially making him an ally. As the prince, even though he is known as the shame of Elbaph, he would still have an impact and significance on Elbaph’s political structure. Kidd was a loyal captain, andLoki’s alliancecould provide Kidd with an opportunity to rebuild or at least recover his pride after his humiliating loss to Shanks.

There are other factors for consideration, such as Loki’s potential alignment with Luffy, since Loki’s interest in Big Mom’s daughter Lola; although this might happen and Loki might agree to the request, it might not go to blows with Shanks.
Kidd and Shanks Could Reunite in Elbaph
Kidd’s character is defined by his audacity, and he many times tends to bite off more than he can chew. His decision to go against Shanks cost him his crew and position, leaving him with nothing. Elbaph offers him a revenge arc and a chance for Kidd to rebuild his identity.
Instead of focusing on revenge against Shanks, with how Oda does his world-building and structures the plot for the secondary characters, Kidd might pivot toward redemption and realization and give up revenge. This would allow him to grow as a character, from a reckless character to a more purposeful role.

Prince Loki’s potential involvement in the story also broadens the scope of possibilities for Kidd and his future actions. Loki, who has had a fight with Luffy and been humbledmight have strength hiddenfrom the wannabe-Pirate King.

Should Kidd manage to convince and team up with Loki, the duo could raise new levels of weirdness and contribute to the lore and world-building in Elbaph, including its history of the giants. However, it’s also possible that Loki and Kidd won’t interact, and Kidd will appear in Elbaph in some other way.
