Jaguar D. Saul is one of the few giants inOne Piecewho was not born in Elbaph and was also part of the Navy. However, when he learned about the World Government’s injustice, he refused to do so by freeing Robin’s mother, who was held captive by the Navy.

Later on, Saul somehow reached Ohara, where he met Robin, and the two developed a unique friendship. Saul was one of the first characters who influenced Robin, and he was also her first friend inOne Piece.He was also the one who evidently told her about the Will of D., which is one of the biggest mysteries inOne Piece.
When the buster call on Ohara was in motion, Saul tried to save Robin, but he was shot and frozen by Aokiji, but Robin somehow managed to escape. While “dying,” Saul encouraged Robin to find friends at sea and have an adventure. The last panel of the chapter sees Luffy smiling as he watches Robin reuniting with her old friend inOne Piece.
