Palworld’s Crossplay Functionality Is Dropping Sooner Than You Think
According toPocketpair, the Palworld crossplay update will drop in “late March,” though the studio failed to give an exact release date.
What’s more, this update won’t just add crossplay functionality, as it’ll even let players move Pals between worlds! Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any cross-progression integration in the patch.
Pocketpair has confirmed that crossplay for Palworld will support all released platforms: PS5, Xbox, Steam, and Mac. As is usually the case, the update will also include a host of gameplay improvements.
Hopefully, there will be a chance to toggle console-only crossplay, which is a feature that more and more multiplayer games are doing, since most cheaters come from PC given the platform’s more open ecosystem.
With32 million registered playersacross all platforms, Palworld players shouldn’t have any issues with matchmaking.
Even with crossplay set to be integrated in the game, Pocketpair is doing that whie navigating itsongoing lawsuit against Nintendowho claims Palworld is infringing on its Pokemone trademark.
