It nestles in and makes itself quite at home with the rest of the RTX 20-series family next week on January 15 and you’ll be quite pleased with the pricing too, as we all know how expensive Nvidia cards usually are, but your wallet will have a happier start to 2019 as you can pick one up with prices starting at $349.

Apparently,  there have been talks that it is at the same performance level or faster than theGTX 1070 Ti, which is huge news to those looking to upgrade their system with a decent card, but also wanting to watch the pennies as, in comparison, in comparison, the RTX 2070 is $599 and the RTX 2080 is $799. Of course, to get this particular card down to that price, a few tweaks were made - theGeForce RTX 2060has 6GB of GDDR6 memory video memory, so noticeably less than other RTX cards which have 8GB plus. Then there’s the all exciting ray tracing or Nvidia’s turing architecture, which gives permission for the graphics card to produce the way light works in real life - hence realistic reflections, animations, shadows, and lighting effects, giving a much more true-to-life experience when gaming.

Jensen Huang, who is CEO at Nvidia, showcased the newRTX 2060graphics card by displaying some videos reflecting the ray tracing performance by creating the reflection of fireworks in puddles and bright lights reflecting off metal. Mr. Huang went on to discuss DLSS, which stands for Deep Learning Super Sampling, which in effect, brings in a cleaner image with a minimal performance loss. “We can use DLSS to infer a much more beautiful, higher resolution,” said Huang.

If the low price wasn’t enough for you to purchase theRTX 2060graphics card, then how about a few games thrown in, too?
