During a talk show appearance, Majors revealed a piece of advice from his mother that had helped him navigate Hollywood. The advice appears all the more poignant for the actor after he was recently handed his sentencing in the domestic violence case after being found guilty. During the same time, Majors appeared onThe Late Show with Stephen Colbertand discussed his work on both films.

While speaking with Colbert, Majors addressed his habit of carrying around a cup with him, which he revealed resulted from advice given by his mother, who was a pastor.

Jonathan Majors Receives Sentencing in Domestic Violence Case

On July 10, 2025, the trial over the domestic assaultchargesagainst Jonathan Majors commenced with the actor pleading not guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges. After a series of testimonies, the case saw its closing arguments delivered on August 06, 2025.

On June 27, 2025, the court finally reached averdictin the case and Majors was deemed guilty of one count of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and a charge of harassment as a violation. Majors’ sentencing was scheduled to take place in February 2024 but was delayed.
