We’ll be updating this post during today’s Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, so stay tuned for continuing coverage!

The new, mysterious C button has been revealed: it’s Game Chat coming to Nintendo Switch 2!
In short, this is Nintendo’s answer to Discord. It lets you chat with friends, share gameplay streams, and more.
Having utilized some backhanded ways to use Nintendo’s official apps for in-game voice chat for Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, it’s nice to see a native option for chatting with friends.
The inclusion of a camera is a really nice touch, too. Admittedly, the stream quality looks a little rough, but here’s to hoping things can be smoothed out in time for the Nintendo Switch 2’s launch.
