Nintendo May Have Accidentally Leaked A Major Mario Kart World Spoiler
Ahead of the Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct, a big surprise was accidentally leaked by Nintendo themselves.
Many fans started expressing their disappointment early on. After a few days, now we have an official response from Nintendo.

In a recent interview with CBC,Doug Bowser, the head of Nintendo of America, in response to the console’s price and recent criticisms, said the following:
“As we look at Nintendo Switch 2 and you think about the feature sets that I talked about … we believe that the pricing is appropriate for the value of the machine and the gameplay experience overall.”

“We recognize there are some people that may not be able to afford [the Switch 2’s] price point. That’s why we wanted to make the other Switch platforms available, so [people] still have an opportunity to come into our gaming universe, be a part of these characters in these worlds, and see value, if you will, in whatever rung of the platform they come in.”
“We Have a Product Called Xbox 360”
This messaging reminds us ofDon Mattrick, when, in response to the original design ofXbox One, which required a constant internet connection, said:
“Fortunately, we have a product for people who aren’t able to stay connected; it’s called Xbox 360”

To be fair, Nintendo’s response is not as direct as Don Mattrick. But it will not please many fans who are not happy with the Nintendo Switch 2’s price.
The problem only gets worse when it is indicated thatthe recent US tariffs might lead to Nintendo choosing an even more expensive final price tagfor its upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
With all that said, Nintendo has secured many amazing games to release for its anticipated upcoming handheld consoles, and analysts expect Nintendo Switch 2 to become one of the fastest-selling console system ever.
