Bayonetta 3fans are quite anxious about a delay, but it seems like the game is still on track for a 2022 release date according to Nintendo.
In itsannual report, Nintendo has revealed quite a bit of information about its games and revenue. While the annual net sales have become slightly lesser than Financial Year ‘21 with a 3.6% reduction, the operating profit has taken an even bigger hit with a 7.5% drop.

Considering that Financial Year ‘21 was quite a big year for the Nintendo Switch as sales skyrocketed due to the launch ofAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsand the massive demand for the console amidst the pandemic, it isn’t quite surprising to see a slight drop in the revenue of the company.
There is a stock shortage as well which has refused to get better despite demand being slightly lesser, thanks to the chip shortage. The Nintendo Switch is not the only console that is a victim of chip shortage, as the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are facing a similar fate as well.
