This delay led her to endure the “excruciating” experience of doctors draining blood from her knee. But eventually, when the time came for surgeries, Dobrev admitted to being “pretty nervous” and “anxious” about the procedure.
I never had a big surgery like this before, so it was really scary. [But] it was a success.
Discussing how she was quickly able to return to physical therapy, right after her surgery, Nina Dobrev then narrated “the most brutal recovery” of her life. Not being able to walk, or go to the bathroom by myself, or carry a drink was really challenging. I’m a very independent person, so having to rely on other people was really hard for me.
