Nicholas Hoult is excited to amplify his resume with another superhero film but as a villain this time. Fans have been aware of Hoult portraying the character of Beast in Marvel’sX-Mensaga for years. However, he is all ready to change camps, much like James Gunn with the upcomingSuperman.

Fans have been intrigued about the casting choice of every important character in the movie. However, unlike what David Corenswet faced for his role, Nicholas Hoult’s casting as Lex Luthor was met with a positive reception from fans.

Interestingly, it seems like Hoult himself has some interesting plans for his character in DC. His debut in the franchise, though, is yet to hit the theaters. So only time will tell how successful his ideas become in the future.

As perCBR, theNosferatuactor noted that he was first introduced to the world ofSupermanthrough the CW showSmallville, who was present at the festival as well. Hoult also claimed that he planned to hang out withMichael Rosenbaum, who portrays Lex Luthor in the show as well.

I feel like superhero movies are a part of history. I also love the reimagining of history. It’s not always completely accurate, but you may tell stories that are really relevant today without pushing an agenda.

Moreover, he also sharedhis appreciation for James Gunn’s writingduring the interview. According to him, the way Gunn has written his character is“very fun and smart”.Although he was adamant not to give away spoilers. Regardless, it might be this very aspect thatmakes him want to embody Luthorfor a long time.

Nicholas Hoult further noted that even if he has joined DC now, he would still be open to recreating his Beast in Marvel again. In any case, the MCU has already revivedHugh Jackman’sWolverinein the franchise.
