Dumb Ways to Diewas initially launched by Metro Trains in Melbourne, Victoria as a public campaign for people in Australia. The crux of the animated skit was to educate people about the dangers and pitfalls who are not keen to hear safety briefings.

The franchise got its first game in 2013. Created by Julian Frost, Patrik Baron, and Samuel Baird, the game allows players to undertake dangerous campaigns while avoiding death. Initially released just for iOS, the game got its Android version a year later. The game has since seen 3 sequels and 3 spin-offs.
Apart fromDumb Ways to Die: The Games,Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour, andDumb Ways to Die 4, there are three other spin-offs. They areDumb Ways to Draw,Dumb Ways to Dash, andDumb Ways to Die: Superheroes.
Netflix acquired the franchise and is putting its own spin on it in the form ofDumb Ways to Survive. The short 10-second video that was released as an announcement shows the famous beans in a brand-new art style.
The upcoming game with feature Noob as the central character as players will get lost in the wilderness after taking a wrong turn. They will then have to collect, harvest, hunt, craft, and cook through the dangerous and delicious wilderness to find their way back home, Beanland.
Although no release date has been confirmed yet, fans are keen to see what Netflix does with this fan-favorite franchise.

Netflix Games is only 3 years old but they have already amassed a lucrative collection of mobile games, some of which can also be played on PCs.
