In a recentinterview with GamesRadar, Miyazaki talked about the legacy ofBloodborne.

He even talked about the difference between developing on the PS3 and the PS4. When asked about his thoughts on the future legacy ofBloodborne, he responded,“To be frank, it all boils down to having fun. No matter what kind of legacy or reputation this title leaves a decade down the road, if the players had fun playing it, I’d be more than satisfied.”

Miyazaki has always talked about his ultimate goal being that players really have fun and could overcome the frustration of the difficulty and enjoy themselves even more to surpass a boss or level. He is really grateful for the fans’ reception of his games. He really loves to make games and will continue to do so in the upcoming years.Bloodbornewas the only exclusive game that From Software released for PS4.

At the moment, Hidetaka Miyazaki and From Software are working on theElden RingDLC,Shadow of the Erdtree. Miyazaki claims that this will be the studio’s largest expansion to date. This content will be available on June 21 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. The Elden Ring base game will be needed to play the DLC.
