They’ve done it again. Just when we thought The Last of Us was finished with its frenzy of seemingly never-ending remasters, remakes, and repackages, Naughty Dog has one more.
Just announced, Naughty Dog has another set for all you collectors out there,“The Last of Us Complete,” & “The Last of Us Complete: Collector’s Edition.”
Only a few days away fromThe Last of Us Season 2’s April 13th premiere date on HBO/MAX, Sony and Naughty Dog are attempting to reignite the fanbase once more with a digital “The Last of Us Complete” bundle available now that includes both“The Last of Us Part I,” and “The Last of Us Part II Remastered”in one package.
The Last Of Us Gets Major Update From HBO Ahead Of Controversial Season 2 Premiere
The Last of Us Part 2’s story might take “several seasons” to finish per the showrunners.
Pre-orders for the physical “Collector’s Edition” are now live, and it includes some extra perks if you want the most out of your purchase,set to release on July 10th.

Unpacking the Collector’s Edition
So, what can you expect from the physical collector’s edition?
Right off the bat, you’re treated to stunning cover art, an elegant yet powerful design featuring young Ellie and adult Ellie, with Joel’s silhouette formed in the negative space between the two, perfectly suited for anyphysical media collectors out there.
Of course, the “Left Behind” prequel story set in Part I’s Winter chapter is also included.
In addition to the graphic novel set with a revamped cover, there arefour “Lithographic Art Prints”featuring Ellie, Joel, and Abby, to do with as you please.
Finally, collectors will receivea heartfelt “Thank You” letterfrom the game’s director, Neil Druckmann. This nice little gesture may hold deeper significance depending on how much the series has impacted them throughout the years and is a nod to those who go the extra mile to support the franchise.
To add on to the letter, Druckmann,in an interview with Variety,has recently taken a step back on his comments for a potential third game in the series, which adds anotherlayer of finality to the “Complete” bundle.
“I guess the only thing I would say is don’t bet on there being more of The Last of Us. This could be it,” Niel Druckmann, Game Director, Naughty Dog.
This could just mean that Druckmann is simply focusing on the live-action show and Naughty Dog’s new IP,“Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet,”right now. However, this may be the last “Last of Us” video game release we receive for a while.
