Kohei Horikoshi has created some extraordinary heroes forMy Hero Academiabut he also hasn’t skimped out on the villains. Characters like Dabi, Toga, and Twice have received immense love due to their complex backgrounds, which forced them to give up on humanity.

Fans especially adored Twice or Jin Bubaigawara, who had a goofy personality and an overall amiable demeanor. His quirk, which is known as Double, was an indomitable one and had the potential to turn the tide in the war.
Did Kohei Horikoshi Copy Twice’s Quirk fromNaruto?
Twice’s Quirk inMy Hero Academiais Double, which allowed him to create the exact same replica of both living and non-living objects. His clones can further make more clones, thus creating an infinite army of them. This ability seems awfully similar to one of the first jutsu shown inNaruto, the Shadow Clone Jutsu.
“Still better than Kishimoto”: Kohei Horikoshi Might Always Have an Upper Hand Against Naruto No Matter How Bad My Hero Academia’s Ending May Have Been
TheShadow Clone Jutsu inNarutoallows its usersto make more than one copy of themselves. Their chakra is also evenly divided between the clones which makes it hard to create several of them. But Naruto, with his huge chakra reserves, was able to make hundreds of clones. Twice can also make an entire army of clones by making his clones further divide themselves.
Of course, unlike Naruto’s jutsu, Twice has some limitations to his Quirks. He can only make clones of other people once he knows their exact specifications. He also has no control over the clones he has created because they have their own will, personality, and abilities that are identical to the original.

Twice was an Under-Rated Hero Who Deserved a Better Fate inMy Hero Academia
Twice’s demise was unexpected and disheartening, but it was deemed to be a necessary evil inMy Hero Academia. After all, his Quirk was so powerful that it could have taken on any hero singlehandedly. By creating infinite doubles, creating an army is a field trip for him, and even All Might or Endeavor would have had a hard time dealing with the unending onslaught of villains.
Hawks chose to end Twice’s life during the Paranormal Liberation War to save the world from an overpowered Quirk-wielding villain.Kohei Horikoshiknew that he had created a monster who could not be defeated the straight way. But Twice was always a good man at heart, something that even Hawks acknowledged. Thus, he tried giving Twice a chance to leave the League and join the heroes.

“This makes me happy, honestly”: Despite Rushed Ending, Kohei Horikoshi’s Greatest Feat in My Hero Academia is Something Even Black Clover Couldn’t Crack
However, Twice was indebted to the League since they made him feel comfortable in his own skinafter living an extremely unfortunate life. Thus, Hawks knew that he had to end Twice, otherwise the villain could have made reckless decisions to cause damage to the heroes. Had Twice gone on a rampage, there would have been countless casualties, none of which the heroes could afford, and Twice had to be killed.
My Hero Academiamanga is available to read on Viz Media, and the anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
