The first season ofMarvel Rivalsbegins later this week. It introduces two new playable characters:Mr. Fantasticand theInvisible Womanfrom the Fantastic Four.
While we’re still waiting for everything else coming inSeason 1 of Marvel Rivals, we’re expecting a combination of balance updates for heroes and a new map.

Let’s dive into the abilities of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman
Mr. Fantastic Overview in Marvel Rivals
Mr. Fantastic is aDuelistinMarvel Rivalswho performs melee attacks but can reach enemies from a distance. Think of him as a medium-range character versus a traditional ranged or melee DPS.
Leaning into the character’s comic book abilities, he can stretch his arms out to slap enemies together. Or, if you’re grabbing one enemy, you can bring them in toward you.

Inversely, you can grab an ally or enemy and dash towards them. If you’re grabbing an ally, you will grant them bonus health. Enemies, meanwhile, will take damage from this.
As a Duelist who is a little closer to the action, Mr. Fantastic has some defensive utility. He can grow in size, absorb enemy attacks, and even deflect them. The character trailer shows him deflecting anIron ManUltimate.

Mr. Fantastic’s ultimate ability will leap you into the air, allowing you to slam into enemies and bounce back up in the air. You can repeat this up to six times, so long as you’re bouncing on enemies.

Invisible Woman Overview in Marvel Rivals
The Invisible Woman is aStrategistinMarvel Rivals andis less of a dedicated healer and more of a balanced support character likeCloak & Dagger. It shouldn’t be surprising that she can turn invisible while out of combat.
Her primary attacks heal allies while damaging enemies. Her toolkit is excellent at dealing with enemy divers, including a knockback, an AOE field that slows and damages enemies, and a double jump.

Her support toolkit is also impressive. Scan can also drop barriers in front of allies, protecting them from incoming damage and attracting enemies from a distance.
As for her ultimate ability, the Invisible Woman drops an AOE that heals allies while also turning them invisible.
