Monster Hunter Wilds Manages To Quadruple Monster Hunter World’s Steam Concurrent High
OnSteamDB, the game’s 24-hour peak has been recorded at 1,307,976. This is already a staggering number, and it’s made even more impressive given that it doesn’t even factor in the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S player base. Chances are, those are hitting similar (or more) numbers, given the franchise’s popularity in its home country of Japan, which is primarily console gamers.
Monster Hunter Wilds has now beaten big games such as Elden Ring (953,426) and Cyberpunk 2077 (1,054,388) to become the sixth-highest concurrent player count holder.

Thankfully, the game’s servers are still holding up, and there have been no widespread reports of server outages affecting players.
Don’t be surprised to see this number increase even more, as we’re heading into the weekend, which means most people have more time to game.

For reference, Monster Hunter World had a Steam concurrent-player peak of 334,684.

The latest franchise entry seems to be a commercial hit even on its first day of availability. When it comes to the game’s quality, we can’t recommend it enough. Wegave it a perfect 10/10 scoreand said, “After 100 hours of gameplay and reaching Hunter Rank 110, I can confidently say that Monster Hunter Wilds is a better game than World and Rise. Largely focusing on streamlining and making the overall experience more accessible, without removing the core principles that veteran hunters have come to know and love, Monster Hunter Wilds is a game that should be experienced by everyone.”
