10 Best Monster Hunter Games, Ranked
There are plenty of Monster Hunter games to choose from, but these are the best of the best.
My friends and I adored the simplicity ofMH World’s multiplayer joining system. Still, it’s a matter of time before we get used toMH Wilds’s invite and joining system.

So, in the spirit of that, I’ve prepared a quick guide to help you invite and join your friends inMonster Hunter Wildswhile explaining the additional in-game steps.
How To Invite & Join Friends
The best and recommended way to invite your friends is for one of you to create a private lobby, then everyone joins via the Lobby ID.
This is strictly becauseMonster Hunter Wildssupports over 100 players in a single lobby, so finding your friends in that lobby or even having space for them can get hectic.

If you’ve already added your friends, you may also join their current lobby instead via theHunter Friend Searchoption from the main menu.
You canfind the Lobby ID by going to Communication > Member List > Lobby ID,displayed on the screen’s right side alongside other session information.

Alternatively, you’re able to also add your friendsvia their Hunter ID by going to Communication > Player List > Hunter ID Searchtab on the far-right.
TheHunter ID can be found in Info > Hunter Profile > Toggle Hunter IDto display in the top-left corner. This is the recommended way to add players on different platforms via crossplay.

Now, let’s quickly discuss the extra hoopsWildsintroduced in the multiplayer system. They are pretty simple once you understand their gist and how they work.
How To Invite Friends To Link Parties
Link Parties is the newest addition to the game and is, in fact, the true way to actually party up with your friends once they join your lobby inMonster Hunter Wilds.
After your friends join your lobby, simply go to Communication > Link Party > Invite To Link Party, and from there, invite your friends to the Link Party from the member list.
So, what’s the benefit of being in Link Parties instead of just using the traditional lobbies?
Link Party streamlines the process of joining each other’s quests.Whenever a Link Party member posts a hunt, the game will notify you with a quest invitation.
The invite is also saved in yourInvitation List menufor easy access and can be found under the Communications tab.
The Quest Host also has the option to quick start a quest or a “Post & Prep” phase, during which you may leave together once everyone in your party is ready.
Once you finish the quest’s hunt, you’ll be sent back to the respective Biome’s camp while still being in the Link Party to partake in further quests together.
The Difference Between Link Parties & Environment Links
In the Link Party section, there’s another option for inviting everyone from your Link Party to an Environment Link, yet another extra step.
The core difference is that Environment Link allows you to explore the Biome seamlessly without going on a quest together.
It allows your party totackle monsters freelywhile completing other Expedition-related stuff.
Now, here’s the downside: you won’t be able to post or join quests during Environment Link. So, this is only advised when you just need to go after a respective monster on the map or do other non-hunt activities together.
you may also use the Forecast for each monster from the map via theEnvironment Overview option, which allows you to cycle througheach available monsterand when they’ll appear.
