Warzone 2andModern Warfare 2Season 4 is upon us, sporting a massive overhaul of content for both versions of the game. While new Multiplayer maps and the additional Vondel map for Warzone 2 provide fresh new environments for players to battle in, the inclusion of two new weapons has once again updated the meta for the current Call Of Duty. One of these weapons is theISO 45, a weapon that was originally featured in Modern Warfare 2019.

The ISO 45 is the second Submachine Gun to be added to Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, arriving with the Season 4 update. Unfortunately, this SMG does not have a lot of going for it. The ISO 45 is beaten out by every other weapon of its type in terms of fire rate, range, accuracy, recoil control, mobility, and handling. However, it doespossess one of the highest levels of damagethanks to its .45 auto rounds.
Unlocking The ISO 45
The ISO 45 is afree rewardtied to theSeason 4 Battle Passfor Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, and can beclaimed at Sector D4. The fastest way to reach Sector D4 within the Battle Pass is to first claim all the rewards within D1 and D2. All that is left now is to obtain all the other available rewards within Sector D4 to be able to claim the ISO 45.
Alternatively, you may also unlock the ISO 45 for free byextracting it within Warzone 2 DMZ. The last method is to obtain a blueprint variant of the ISO 45, but this will most likely pertain to purchasing a Store Bundle.

Our ISO 45 build will provide anincrease in range, accuracy, and recoil control- at the cost of minimal mobility and handling. For the first attachment, we recommend the16'' XLB-S. This barrel attachment is the only barrel to provide sound suppression, but also provides both damage range and bullet velocity - thus making the range of this SMG on par with other weapons of its type.
Next, make sure to equip theFTAC RIPPER 56to bring improve your recoil control. Your third attachment should be theVLK LZR 7MW, which will boost your handling attributes back to a manageable amount. Follow this up with the45-ROUND DRUM. While your reload speed, movement speed, and aim-down-sight speed will be reduced significantly, higher ammo capacity is a great counter for this gun’s fast fire rate. Lastly, finish off with theCRONEN MINI PROto provide a clean precision sight picture.

For Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 players, we recommend creating a preset Perk Package with the following attachments. Start by equippingTrackeras one of your Base Perks. Tracker will reveal enemy footprint trails, thus providing you with the perfect means of tracking down your opponents and closing in for the kill. Next, takeScavengerto ensure you never run out of ammunition.
Fast Handsis a definite must to improve your reload speed, especially when it has been negatively affected by equipping a larger magazine. Finally, finish off withQuick Fix. This perk allows you to shorten your regeneration window upon eliminating opponents, ensuring your health is at optimum levels between gunfights.
For Warzone 2, go ahead anddrop Scavenger in favor of Overkill. This will allow you to take an additional primary, which should be one more suited for longer-range engagements.
Secondary Recommendations
The ISO 45 can hold its own pretty well in most situations for Multiplayer. Therefore, a swap to secondary is not entirely necessary. Instead, consider a launcher like thePILAor even theJOKR. Both options are fully capable of taking down pesky killstreaks that are giving you and your teammates a difficult time.
For Warzone 2, the ISO 45 is largely ineffective against players beyond the 50-meter mark. In this case, go ahead and equip an Assault Rifle for your Secondary slot.TheISO HemlockandtheTAQ-56are two of the best-performing weapons in the AR category, withtheM4falling not too far behind. For those of you looking for an additional option, then, by all means, take the Tempus Razorback - which also dropped for Season 4.
