Apart fromNaruto, Masashi Kishimoto has worked on theHidenseries. Hiden is a light novel that focuses on side characters’ backstories. Currently,Itachi Shindenis popular among the series’ fans. Of all the deaths in the series, his ending was gut-wrenching. However, there is a caveat to this.

Apart from Itachi, several characters deserve their spin-off. And it’s time Kishimoto gives these characters their due recognition.
Rock Lee is one of the most powerful shinobi inNaruto. Most fans rooted for him during hisfight with Gaara. Despite his weakness in Genjutsu and Ninjutsu, he has grown immensely throughout the series. His biggest feat was defeating Kimimaro and Kabuto.

His mastery of Taijutsu is remarkable. As a shinobi trained under Might Guy, Lee proved himself formidable. He played a pivotal role in the Shippuden series. From incapacitating Madara to defeating Master Chen, Lee deserves his spin-off series.
Masashi Kishimotois notorious for his treatment of female characters. Besides Sakura and Ino, Tenten is the most disrespected female character in the series. Her skills and abilities are often overlooked in the series.

Apart from her proficiency in ninja tools, she holds mastery in taijutsu. Besides that, she is fluent in sealing jutsu. Like Rock Lee, she is overshadowed in the series.

Moreover, her abilities aren’t fully explored. Tenten played a pivotal role in the war along with her teammates. However, her contribution waned away. She truly deserves a spin-off series that focuses on her backstory. It would provide a glimpse of her training and character growth.
3Seven Swordsmen of the Mist
TheSeven Ninja Swordsmenof the Mist are some of the iconic ninjas in the series. These ninjas belonged to Kirigakure. Each swordsman wielded a unique blade. The organization consisted of several formidable ninjas.
There is not much information regarding the group. Except that it was formed during the Third World War. While its founders are mentioned, a spin-off series would be exciting. It could uncover the origins and backstories of members.

Karin is one of the sole surviving members of the Uzumaki clan. As Orochimaru’s subordinate, she took care of the Southern Hideout.Despite her strength, she’s reduced to a puppet in the series. This is true with her healing abilities. Like most characters, her abilities and intelligence aren’t explored fully.
As a Uzumaki clan member, she possesses immense chakra. Moreover, her past is nothing short of heartbreaking. From trafficking to emotional abuse, Karin experienced hell.

Black Clover: Yuki Tabata Got So Sick of Naruto Ripoff Accusations He Has Written One Chapter Just to Troll Everyone
She truly deserves a spin-off series that focuses on her abilities. The story could also underscore her time as Orochimaru’s subordinate.
Kurenai Yuhi is one of the most underrated shinobi in the series. Despite her title of a genjutsu prodigy, she is nerfed throughout the series. Moreover, her character is reduced to a joke. This is clear in her inability to escape from the Kurama clan’s genjutsu.
Furthermore, her trapping Itachi in genjutsu is even more nonsensical. The series fails her character in many ways. However, her being reduced to Asuma’s lover was the last straw. Like most characters Kurenai’s abilities were underutilized.
Honorable Mentions
Apart from the aforementioned characters Ino Yamanaka, Iruka Umino and Shino Aburame deserve their spin-off series.
