Unlike many other mobile games currently released,Marvel Snapgives fans plenty of reasons to jump in without forcing a pay-to-win model on its players. One of the driving forces behind the game’s success is the numerous card Variants that players can collect through progression.
Marvel Snap: 9 Tips & Tricks For Beginners
It takes a lot of strategy and planning to be great at Marvel Snap. These tips can help players succeed.
These Variants are essentially card skins, giving no real competitive advantage to the players that use them. Most of the Variants can be purchased from the in-game shop at a relatively low cost, with Gold being pretty easy to come by. All the Variants change the appearance of their base card, but there are a few that truly stand out from the rest.

Updated by CJ Kuzdal on June 16, 2025: Many new card variants have been added to Marvel Snap since this list was first written. The article has been updated to include five additional variants and tables have been added to each entry giving more information on the listed variant.
15White Vision

August 11, 2025
Dale Keown
Vision isn’t used as frequently as other cards in this list, which is why this Variant isn’t ranked higher. Players will likely be familiar with White Vision, as he was most recently popularized by WandaVision and will likely play a role in future MCU titles. This Variant, though, pays homage to the character’s comic book origins, giving him an intense appearance.
This is a Rare Variant, costing players 700 Gold. It can be obtained in the shop but can also be found in a few other ways (like Collector’s Caches or Mystery Variant pulls). Vision has the ability to move each turn but, with a 5-Cost Energy, it usually isn’t played until the end of a match, where its ability loses effectiveness.

14Moon God Moon Knight
1,200 Gold
Philip Tan
Moon Knight evokes a feeling of strength and godliness. This is probably because he is an Avatar for the Egyptian god, Khonshu. This variant centers the glowing moon directly behind Moon Knight as he stares down at the player. There are a few other variants that capture a Hero or Villain as well as this one.
Moon Knight is a 3-Cost Discard card that has a powerful ability. Moon Knight will not only discard a card from the player’s hand but will also discard one from the opponent’s hand as well. This can easily destroy the other player’s plans, especially if their deck is built around a few staple cards.

13Lady Death
June 16, 2025
Giulio Rincione
This Death Variant is illustrated by the talented Giulio Rincione and gives the already spooky Death card a much more harrowing feeling. This Variant really puts death into perspective, highlighting her skull-like head and flowing garments.
This Death Variant is one of the few Rare Variants on this list, meaning it will only cost players 700 Gold, rather than the Super Rare cost of 1,200. Death is an essential card in Destroy or Galactus-based decks, and having this Variant can really spruce up your deck.

12House Of X Professor Xavier
Combo Break
Professor X’s House of X Variant is a no-brainer for this list. Players will receive Professor X in Pool 1, so they can start hunting for this Variant very early on in the game. Professor X is a staple in many early-game decks, so this Variant is a great grab if players can spare the gold.
This Variant is Super Rare and can be purchased in the Daily Offers section of the in-game shop. While it will set players back a good deal of gold, it looks great when snapped and upgraded and makes a great addition to any control deck.

11Sentient Cerebro
Eric Guerrero
Cerebro’s Sentient Variant is extremely cool and shows Cerebro taking a humanoid form. Cerebro causes quite a few problems for the X-Men when it gains Sentience, and this card can cause just as many problems for enemies during a match.
This is a Super Rare Variant, which means it has a higher price tag than most other Variants, but it’s well worth the price. Cerebro is the focal point of many different decks and, when paired with cards like Blue Marvel or Mystique, can really do some damage to opponents.
10Dawn Of X Magneto
Marco Checchetto
There’s a lot of Mutant representation on this list and for good reason. Magneto’s Dawn of X Variant is one of the most eye-catching cards in the game. With classically villainous intentions, this Variant highlights Magneto’s good side, sporting the X-Men logo on his belt.
10 Best Disney Games Ever Made, Ranked
Despite Walt Disney’s mixed history with video games, these games embody the magic of Disney the best.
This is a Super Rare Variant, so players will need to shell out a bit more Gold than normal (1,200 in total) to own it. It is well worth the cost though, as Magneto has an impressive On Reveal ability that can be utilized in many different decks. The ability forces all opposing 3 and 4-Cost cards to be moved to its location, foiling the plans of the opposing player.
9Venomized Hela
Clayton Crain
Hela is already a deadly villain in the Marvel Universe, but this Venomized Variant makes her even more menacing. This card looks even more impressive when upgraded and snapped, as the animations give its green lines a pulsating effect.
This Variant is Super Rare, but it is worth investing in. Hela is one of the best Discard cards in the game and is nearly essential to a good Discard deck. This card will get plenty of use if players manage to nab it.
8God Emperor Doom
God Emperor Doom is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, so it’s no surprise that this Variant makes the list. God Emperor Doom rules over Battleworld and is not to be contested.
Marvel Snap: Best Ms. Marvel Decks
Ms. Marvel has joined Marvel Snap’s roster of heroes! If you need help crafting a deck, this guide has your answers.
As with many other Variants on this list, this one is a Super Rare and costs a much higher price in the Daily Offer shop. Doctor Doom has plenty of uses in Marvel Snap and can easily be squeezed into even high-ranking decks.
7Symbiote Spider-Man
July 27, 2025
Todd McFarlane
This Variant of Spider-Man puts the web-slinger into his iconic black symbiote suit. This Variant looks great when upgraded and snapped because of the amount of detail added to the card’s background imagery.
This is a Super Rare Variant and will cost players a hefty fee, but it is definitely worth the price. Spider-Man isn’t used in very many meta decks, at the time of writing, but anyone with this Variant is sure to work him into their strategy.
6Iron All-Father Odin
Daniele Di Nicuolo
Odin’s Iron All-Father Variant is one of the most menacing card arts in the game, and will surely strike fear into your opponent. Odin’s Iron All-Father armor was actually crafted by the combined efforts of Iron Man and Shuri and plays an important role in the character’s story. This makes the card Variant all the more impressive to have in a deck.
This is a Rare Variant, and will only set players back 700 Gold in the shop. The card is likely to get plenty of use in the player’s arsenal, as itsOn Reveal abilityactivates the On Reveal Abilities of all other cards that share its location. At the time of writing, Odin is one of the most consistently used cards in the meta, especially when paired with Wong.
