Marvelâs Spider-Man: Miles Morales’s Nadji Jeter, playing the titular role of protagonist Miles Morales, shared a heartfelt status about what being chosen for said role means to him. The tweet also featured pictures of him during the motion capture development process:
It’s wonderful to see his passion and drive for playing as Morales, and hopefully that full energy will be transferred into his performance. However, this isn’t Jeter’s first foray into videogame voice actor, as he also played as Sam fromThe Last of Us.

Recently there had been some confusion as to whether Miles Morales was a standalone title or more of a DLC expansion. Originally Simon Rutter, Sonyâs EVP head of European business, spoke to theTelegraph (in an article thatâs behind a paywall) and clarified that theMarvelâs Spider-ManÂgametrailer that was shown that nightwas not a sequel.
However, Insomniac took to Twitterthe very next dayto make it extremely clear thatSpider-Man: Miles Moralesis a fully standalone game. That itâs not merely an expansion to the previous title, but is instead an experience all of its own.
