Marvel Rivalshas kicked the hornet’s nest and fans are racing to be first in line for the closed beta on PlayStation this July. Fans are now sharing their picks for which character should be added to the roster and one is a well-realized villain by Insomniac Games fromMarvel’s Spider-Man.

The gaming community hopes to see less popular characters in Marvel Rivals.

Mr. Negative was underutilized in other Marvel projects, but the developers of the PlayStation exclusive did a great job in creating an original story with the character having a pivotal role. His popularity paved the way for him to be a candidate to be added to the multiplayer game.

The multiplayer game is expected to have a growing roster throughout time. Recently, the teaser trailer for the PlayStation 5 port ofMarvel Rivalsfeatured new characterslike Adam Warlock and Venom. It will only be a matter of time before the developers will continue to add more and it would make sense for the developers to plant their noses deep within the community and take notes.

A Surprising Title is Being Teased by Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Leaker

The abilities of Martin Li are quite unnatural, to say the least, his corrupting touch could be useful in a chaotic match and pit enemies against their allies. The character has done some creative things with his abilities from the recent Spider-Man games like casting a giant demon shadow figure that allows Li to float in the field and fire energy beams from the palm of his hands.

The developers can do some bizarre things with the villain’s abilities and this will most likely boost his popularity even more. However, NetEase should first look into the abilities and move sets of the characters that are already present and available, players have noticed thatIron Man has poor mobilitywhich is a far cry from other adaptations.

Marvel Rivals Could Be the Perfect Place for Obscure Characters

The developers promised that each character would have their unique moves and playstyles unlike other multiplayer games that featuresimilar moves and gameplay like Rocksteady and DC’sSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguewhere the playable anti-heroes mostly rely on firearms.

If the developers were confident enough to throw shade at other games, perhaps they could deliver what they promised. Early previews and reactions are all leaning towards the same direction and if the developers can do the existing characters justice, imagine what they can do once a powerful villain like Martin Li is introduced.

The developers will have every opportunity to one-up what others have accomplished before them and build upon the popularity of that character. Perhaps the developers will reach out and lend a helping hand on how to design the moves and attacks for the villain to properly work in the multiplayer title.

Marvel Rivals will be the perfect game to showcase different heroes and villains across Marvel’s history.

Fans have alreadyshared their pickslong ago but it is time to givemore obscure characterslike Peni Parker their fair share of the spotlight.
