Marvel Rivals boasts a wide range of amazing characters, but while each has pros and cons, I believe one of the most unique ones among them is the Strategist Luna Snow.

She’s a pop star in showbiz who also possesses dark ice powers, which can be both lethal and a lifesaver in this game’s ecosystem. But using those powers with style yourself may depend on whether you can play her effectively during battles.

Luna Snow Abilities Overview

Luna Snow’s icicle powers allow her to be an excellent mid-range character who can swiftly maneuver around the arena via her skating passive ability. And the first time I played her, she honestlyreminded me of Luciowith that maneuverability from Smooth Skate.

Not to mention, she’s also one of the top-tierbeginner-friendly charactersto use right now,at least to learn the fundamentals of the game plus understand the Strategist role.

Frozen Chi

Iron Fist channels the Chi of Shou-Lao into Luna Snow, transforming her ice power into a Chi-infused frosty ring that radiates from her. This ring can knock back enemies with chilling damage and applies a slowing effect, while simultaneously healing her allies.

Luna Snow Offensive Strategies

You can implement a lot of variation on the offensive playstyle using Luna Snow.In my hero guide for Mantis, I vividly touched on how she’s an aggressive support with only a few defensive options.

However, Luna Snow, thankfully, has the best of both worlds, one where you need to play her at abalanced side and ONLY go on the offense when the situation demands it.Otherwise, getting too aggressive can cost your team a valuable push or a winnable engagement.

Still, we’re here to go over the offensive strategies that are available when playing Luna Snow, which I briefly put together below in brief detail:

Luna Snow Defensive Strategies

Now, I prefer that you play Luna Snow defensively as much as possible because while her offensive options aren’t viable per se, it’s just that you can accomplish more for yourself and the team by being defensive.

Most of these can be interpreted differently based on whether you’re the attacking team or defending team, so bear that in mind when utilizing these for yourself, or just try to adapt to them universally as you learn to play her.

With that said, below are the defensive options for Luna Snow in Marvel Rivals:

Luna Snow Counters & How To Deal With Them

Despitehow agile or broken Luna Snow is on the surface,it’s just as easy to take her down;well, I mean that if you’re not able to be on par against her counters, which at the top for me includesHawkeye, at least at the moment of this guide.

A good Hawkeye player can take you out quickly, and due to how an absurd amount of people are using him right now, at least from my experience these days, you best utilize your positioning and reflexes to stay away from him before he picks you off from afar.

Other than that, like any of theannoying DPS flank characters, both Iron Fist and Spider-Man can also swoop in to take you out in a matter of seconds, so attempt to pray that your teammates notice them and help you out or reposition yourself as much as possible.

With characters like Iron Man andScarlet Witch,my reasoning for mentioning them as counters is due to their one-shotting ultimates(as of right now) that can shut down Luna’s Fate of Both Worlds.

You become pretty much invulnerable to everything with FoBW’s healing, but if you see the enemy Wanda charging up her Reality Erasure, don’t expect yourself to withstand it. Instead, I strongly urge you to just get out of harm’s way with your team.

Best Team Comps With Luna Snow

The best team pairing with Luna Snow is, without question, Jeff the Land Shark, solely because of their Icy Disco team-up. This ability will essentially allow Jeff to temporarily infuse his Aqua Burst attack with ice and turn into Frozen Spitball.

This makes that primary attack apply a slow effect on enemies, which is great when the opposition is grouped up together, allowing for a swift takedown if the ally Jeff can manage to land his attack hits.

Besides that, Iron Fist is a no-brainer as this team-up will give you a new ability called Frozen Chi that allows you to release a small AOE ring to launch up and slow enemies around you as well as heal nearby allies.

Lastly, aside from the team-up characters I mentioned, Mantis, due to her damage buffs, and Psylocke, who is a fitting character to take advantage ofour Idol Aura for diving and flanking, are also great characters to use with Luna Snow.
