A new trailer has just been released for the upcoming gameMarvel Rivalsfrom the developer NetEase Games, and it looks like it will be a mix of popular characters from the Marvel universe as they battle other characters in anOverwatch-style 6v6 battle.

Throughout the trailer, we can see all kinds of interesting gameplay mechanics, character abilities, and even story content that will likely continue to grow throughout the years that the game is released, but it already looks like a major start to something special.
Thanks to the trailer, we know that there isn’t an official release date set, but there is a closed alpha coming in May.

We Could Finally See Some of Our Favorite Characters Team Up in Marvel Rivals
Since the game is still in development, there won’t be too many characters that will be available from the get-go, as the developers will likely hold some back for future content. However, during the trailer, we do get a glimpse of a few different characters that will be making their appearance in the upcoming title.

For example, we get a small glimpse of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Dr Strange, Loki, Magneto, and so much more from all corners of theMarveluniverse. Along with these characters, we also got a small glimpse at some of their abilities and how they can even work together to perform even more devastating attacks with a dynamic hero synergy ability.
These abilities will be very helpful in terms of changing the tide of battle, as players will have to battle as a team in this new 6 vs. 6 game mode, or if they would like to embody the characters they are playing as, they can create complete carnage and destroy the scenery with every environment being destructible, allowing players to create all new paths, opportunities, or even block off paths.

Marvel Rivals Goes One Step Further with a New Story by the Developers That Will Expand Each Season
One of the main draws withthe upcomingMarvel Rivalsis the fact that the development team at NetEase Games has created a brand-new story that, yes, touches on the common multiverse storyline that has been going around lately, but this time it is because of two different versions of one character, Dr. Doom.
Overwatch 2 Season 10’s Changes Blow Up Everything We Knew About the Game – Helldivers 2 Really Has Changed Live-Service
In this story, Dr. Doom and his future counterpart from the year 2099 have forced the countless universes from the multiverse to collide, leading to the chaotic situation of universes colliding and even new universes being created, leading to the characters having to search for both versions of Dr. Doom to stop them before things get too far out of hand, but they may have already.
After the game’s release, the development team will attempt to continue the story through seasonal content, which will bring new characters, new maps, and much more. As new versions of characters that we have never seen will enter the fray, they could be friends or foes, but until the game releases, we have no idea how many different characters we will actually see in the game.
