Mai Shiranui is the most iconic lady from theFatal Fury& King of Fighters franchises.Like Chun-Lifrom Street Fighter, she’s often featured in SNK crossover appearances alongside Terry Bogard.

Mai is coming to Street Fighter 6 as part of the Year 2 Character Pass. A new teaser trailer on the official Street Fighter YouTube channel has revealed that she will be launching in Winter 2025/early next year.

The trailer also showed offher iconic movesin the trailer, as her fiery Ninjutsu combined with high-speed punches and kicks come straight from her home series. She beat the hell out of some ninjas while showing off some prospective super moves in the process.

This is in keeping with the previous Street Fighter 6 crossover, as Terry was also part of the Year 2 Character Pass, bringing that signature SNK style to Capcom’s fighting series once more.

Mai’s original design and clothing have also been retained in the crossover. She was notably absent from Terry’s stage inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatedue to her outfits, but Street Fighter 6 leans much harder into the fanservice, so it’s unsurprising that she’s unchanged from the source material.
