Luckily, these also share a lot of common ground.

The Three Schools Of Magic

There are three schools of magicyou will need to be aware of:Rhogaris magic that is governed by a god of chaos named Adyre. Rhogar takes the form of fire-like magic and has a massive focus ondealing with damagein all manner of different ways.Radiantis governed by the god Orius and is a go-to option for when players want to have a large array ofhealing spells and buffsto make use of. Lastly, there is theUmbralschool which is governed by the godess that rules over the Umbral RealmUmbral Realm. Umbral spells are by far theslowest to cast and will be the hardest to master.

Using The Correct Stats & Catalyst

Depending on which school of magic you wish to maximize your skills in, you will need toinvest pointsinto thecorrect stats.Rhogaris reliant on how high yourInfernostat is. On the other hand,Radiantwill become more powerful as you invest points into theRadiantstat. There isno single stat for Umbral—to increase the strength of your Umbral spells, you will need toinvest points into both Radiant and Inferno. Now, it does not matter how high these stats are if you cannot cast spells, so you will first need to get yourself aCatalyst.

These serve as a form ofspell-casting focus, much like awandorholy relic. Each school uses adifferenttype of Catalyst. Rhogar spells need anInferno Catalyst,Radiant needs aRadiant Catalyst, and Umbral needs anUmbral Catalyst. All spells requiremanato cast, so be sure to be mindful of how much your spells areconsuming. When your mana is fullyexpended, you may replenish it by resting at one of the game’sVestiges.

Casting Spells

Once you have arelevant Catalystand some spells to cast with it, you canequip the Catalystto your character. After you equip it, you will see someslotsfor your spells. You can fill these slots withspellsyou have acquired throughout the game for casting with your equipped catalyst. Once you are done with this,close the menusand switch to your catalyst. Holdaimto ready your catalyst and then press therelevant buttonfor your platform to cast your spell. You will see the button prompts for your spells in thebottom right corner.
