The search for the next 007 is still ongoing, but many actors have been gaining support from fans and some have become top contenders for the part. Among those potential figures are Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, both crowd favorites and would definitely nail the role.

Now thatDaniel Craighas moved on from the popular spy action franchise, he is now focusing on more daring roles as evident in his participation inLuca Guadagnino’sQueermovie. While promoting the romance drama film, he was asked viaVarietywho he wanted to see wear the James Bond ensemble for the next installment. His answer: “I don’t care.”
Additionally, when prompted to answer how manyJames Bondmovies he has done, Craig surprisingly blurted out, “Are you asking me that? I’m gonna get it wrong.” His co-starDrew Starkeygot his back and wrote on the board, “Too many,” which the English star agreed on.
It seems like Craig has truly moved on from his time playing Bond. Many fans will always remember his excellent performance in all five installments, namely:Casino Royale(2006),Quantum of Solace(2008),Skyfall(2012),Spectre(2015), andNo Time to Die(2021).
The 56-year-old star made the bold choice of leaving the franchise and deciding to kill off his character. In his interview with theSunday Times, he recalled the moment he knew he wanted to move on from playing James Bond. “I said, This is it. I don’t want to do any more,” he said of the fifth and final movie. “We had to find a way to make his death no choice,” he added.
