Update:Koei Tecmo released a new trailer forDead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarletshowcasing Leifang and Misaki, you may find it at the end of the article. The gallery has also been updated with screenshots of Leifang and Misaki each wearing one of the two “prohibited swimsuits” costumes found in early print copies of the game.
Famitsu published a short teaser video forDead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet, revealing Leifang is included in the game. Leifang wasn’t included inDead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortunefor PlayStation 4 norDead or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus onPlayStation Vita. She is, however, in the DMM browser game,Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation.
Koei Tecmo had previously teased thatDead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlethas another unannounced character. This turned out to be Leifang. Her inclusion might be a good argument to get the game for her fans. In my case though, rather than buyingScarleton PlayStation 4 or Switch, I’d say it’s a much better choice to wait for the free trial version that will be out exclusively for Nintendo Switch, it’ll release a bit shortly after the game.
Here’s thefull list of differencesbetweenDead or Alive Xtreme 3’sversions. The main appeal of theScarletPlayStation 4 version is exclusive to PlayStation 4 Pro owners: when using VR Mode on PlayStation 4 Pro, the girls' facial expressions will be greatly improved compared to other game modes and other versions. On the other hand, the PlayStation 4 version ofScarletremoves some features included inFortune, like swimsuits becoming slightly loose. This could be related to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s new policy. I’d like to write about this one day, to explain my point of view on the matter, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever have the time to do it.
Meanwhile,Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacationadded another brand new character in late December, Nagisa. She’s the fifth newDead or Alivecharacter first appearing inDead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation,following the shy Misaki (who’s also included inScarlet), the intellectual and goofy Luna, the sultry Tamaki, and Fiona the princess.
Nagisa, voiced by Maaya Uchida, is a 20 years old theater actress and the older sister of Misaki. Nagisa is 1m56, her blood type is A and her three sizes are 79-54-87. She’s very protective of her little sister and acts coldly towards the owner because of the apparent affection they get from Misaki. Nagisa’s birthday is on May 5 and her favorite types of food are soufflé pancakes and strawberry shakes. Her favorite color is white. She hates eating green peppers and hates the owner too. She also likes to watch swimming videos.
Nagisa was first revealed during a live stream on December 19, featuring Nyotengu’s voice actress Akemi Satou, Fiona’s voice actress Kaede Hondo and Marie Rose’s voice actress Mai Aizawa. To quote them: “Nagisa is like an overprotective father who thinks his daughter’s fiance isn’t good enough for her”. You canwatch the stream here, and it shows Nagisa gameplay from 45:25 to 56:30.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarletreleases in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on March 20. A trial version for the game will launch slightly later on Switch.
