Bloodbornehas aged like fine wine but it wouldn’t be bad if FromSoftware and Sony would give the gaming community a highly requested remaster. The Soulsborne title has been neglected for far too long and people are now making fun of the prospect of a family-friendly spinoff.

The recent Summer Game Fest by Geoff Keighley showcased a decent lineup of new games and one was leaked a while ago which involves theHorizonfranchise. Sony partnered with LEGO and produced a new spinoff title that seems to be the new approach for this generation.
Bloodborne Will Never Work as a LEGO Game
The Soulsborne game was released almost a decade ago but it is still talked about to this day which is a testament to how it was well-received by the gaming community. The fans had unrealisticallyhigh hopes forBloodborneat the recent PlayStation State of Playand held out hope for a remaster announcement at least but were left disappointed.
They even hoped Geoff Keighley’s show would answer their prayers but they took another loss which prompted Razer to poke fun at the situation. However, its request cannot even be taken into notice for various reasons including the most important one, blood.

While it is true that the toy company shies away from violence like beheading or any gruesome and gory spectacle, a collaboration between the two entities would not have worked then and will not work now. The gaming community gained hope afterHideaki Nishino, the recently appointed co-CEO of PlayStation shared his enthusiasmfor the franchise.
PlayStation’s New CEO’s are Already Getting Asked the Question that Plagued Jim Ryan for a Decade: “Which one of these guys could greenlit a Bloodborne remaster?”
It wasn’t long ago when Sony recently unveiled a new batch ofmerchandise inspired by the Soulsborne game. It can be taken as a sign that the publisher did not forget about the franchise but it isn’t giving the gaming community the content they want or deserve. However, the company will most likely not connect this mature game to a family-friendly company like LEGO.
Sony’s Strategy Will Not Save the Bloodborne Franchise
Sony is doing everything it can to appeal to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The company is firing on all cylinders to release original projects that are targeted at specific groups like children and adults while some are in between.
“That State of Play was fantastic!”: God of War’s David Jaffe Waxes Lyrical Over PlayStation’s Mid-Card Offerings, and Asks for 1 Thing to Happen ASAP Which Sony will Surely Ignore
The company is pushing its luck too hard and Team Asobi’sAstro Botmanaged to pay homage through a cosmetic item inspired by the iconic Soulsborne game. Some of the fans felt insulted about the fact this is the closest they will ever get to Sony acknowledging the franchise and giving it the treatment it deserved.
The only guarantee of combining franchises with completely different target audiences and themes is harrowing consequences. The community will be confused about who the game is intended for and will open a new can of worms. If Sony were to attempt to combine two opposing concepts into one project, it could ruin both entities and the company.
