The Legacy of Kain franchise was dormant for a long time despite the passion of its fanbase. The gothic land of vampires and lost souls had attracted a dedicated audience, whose patiencepaid off in 2024when Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered launched, bringing Kain and Raziel to modern consoles.

There are many shadows and secrets that have yet to be discovered in Nosgoth, which will soon be laid bare in two new books produced by Lost in Cult. These are Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth, an encyclopedia about the game’s world, and Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan, a tabletop RPG involving a holy order pledged to rid theworld of monsters.

The Book of Nosgoth is penned by journalist Nic Reuben and will contain detailed lore breakdowns of the Legacy of Kain series. It will feature lots of official artwork and development materials for all five entries in the series, as well as interviews with the creative minds behind the franchise.
Scourge of Sarafan uses the dark gothicMork Borgtabletop RPG rules. In this RPG, players become members of the Sarafan Order: knights pledged to purge the world of evil. Luckily, Nosgoth hasno shortage of monstersto face.
