If you weren’t already aware, Riot Games is making a mobile and console edition ofÂLeague of LegendstitledÂWild Riftthat is slated to release at some point this year. After being initially unveiled last fall, news onÂWild Rifthas largely fallen silent, but it seems as though that’s about to finally change. For the second time in a little over a week, developers from Riot Games are set to join Geoff Keighley tomorrow in a new live stream from Summer Game Fest. The stream is set to focus entirely onÂLeague of Legends: Wild Riftwith new gameplay from the title being promised to be shown. The event will kick off in the morning at 11:00am EST/8:00am PST.
The last time we heard aboutÂLeague of Legends: Wild Riftwas earlier this year in March whenRiot released a new videodetailing the latest progress with development. At the time, a potential release window for the platform had yet to be given, with the team lead forÂWild Riftsaying that the game needed a bit more time. Much like with RiotÂValorantannouncement last weekvia Summer Game Fest, perhaps further details on the release window forÂWild RiftÂwill be detailed tomorrow, too.

There’s also the chance that we could hear more specifics about platforms that the game is coming to. Riot as of now has only confirmed iOS and Android devices forÂLeague of Legends: Wild Rift, but the title is coming to consoles, too. However, specific console platforms have yet to be disclosed, meaning that we could hear more about this during the upcoming stream.
Whatever Riot has in store for tomorrow, one thing’s for certain:ÂLeague of Legends: Wild Riftwill likely be a huge success when it arrives. A mobile version of one of the world’s most popular games seems to be a shoo-in when it comes to profitability. Hopefully, the final product will keep in core the mainÂLeague of Legendsexperience (although I could do without the toxicity) while adapting it for new platforms.
