How To Use Prophecies

Fast Travel to ‘The Observatory’ in the Divine Era. This is the room withGalilastanding directly in front of theTeleport Circle. Use the stairs behind Galila to enter the room where the magic happens. Immediately upon entering, you’ll noticefour telescopesstationed at the sides of the room.

Each telescope shows prophecies of a single type(idols, weapons, armor, accessories). When you interact with a telescope, it’ll take you to a screen showing different icons, each representing an event of a certain type. Completing that event will give you the reward for that prophecy, which is shown at the outset.

There are two types of items you can get using Prophecies:Exalted (Purple)andUnique (Orange). You’ll be able to tell what rewards a prophecy will give you by hovering over its icon and reading the reward at the bottom. You can also turn on the “Always show rewards icon” option at the bottom right of the prophecy screen to get a general idea without having to look deeply into each prophecy.

Let’s say I’m looking for an Exalted Armor Piece. I’ll go to the armor telescope and look foricons showing an armor piece. If I see an orange armor piece, I’ll hover over the icon to see what that prophecy costs and what the requirements for completing the quest are. If I like both, I’ll click on it to buy that prophecy, and a mission will be triggered according to the prophecy description.

Using the telescopes and, by extension, the Prophecies requires that you havesomeamount of Favor to use. This is thefaction currencythat can be earned in various ways.Press ‘Y’to see all possible methods of earning Favor. You’ll earn this currency passively by just playing the game, but there are a few ways to focus farm it as well.

Use the directional keys (WASD) to switch between telescopes. You don’t need to walk to a different one each time you’re looking for a different type of prophecy.

How To Use Lenses

Once you have a decent amount of Favor to burn (10,000-20,000), head back to The Observatory and talk toGalila, select the buy option, and tab over to theGreater Lensessection. Each of these costs around500 Favor, depending on your rank. Read the description of each one of these to get a general understanding of what they do.

The gist of it is that Lenses can be used to customize prophecies for your specific playstyle. Say you like to play dungeons a lot and are not very interested in Arena or Monoliths. The very first thing you need to do is to buy a Greater Lens that stops any prophecies from triggering forMonolithsandArena. This is what Galila is there for.

For our example, there are three Greater Lenses we’re interested in:

The way these particular lenses work is that once equipped, they will disallow any prophecies from triggering for a certain event type. In our example,if we equip Obscuring Lens of Time and Obscuring Lens of Battle, we’ll have a 0% chance of any Monolith or Arena prophecies.

This is excellent news as it allows a player who is not interested in something not to be forced to engage in it. Play what you want to play and mold the game’s system to your playstyle.

Now that the telescopes are tuned to only spit out prophecies for your preferred playstyle, it’s time to trigger some and get to grinding. The first thing we need to do here is to know how prophecies function.

Lenses can be equipped on a telescope, and since there are four telescopes, you’ll need four of eachof the ones you’re interested in. For us, we’ll get four Lens of Time and four Lens of Battle for a total of 4000 Favor. Once you have the Lenses, go to each telescope and equip them with two lenses of each type until all telescopes are modified.

How To Stack Prophecies

Now, you may have heard the term ‘stacking prophecies’ being thrown around online or in Global Chat. This is Circle of Fortune’s core mechanic. The way it works is simple. When you buy a prophecy, you don’t need to complete it right then and there. It can be completed at any time in the future.

Andif you buy multiple prophecies, they can overlap with each otheron the same map, meaning you only have to complete a map once to complete multiple prophecies in one go, saving you a lot of time and effort.

There is a limit to how many prophecies you can stack, but it is extremely generous, and you can trigger about 50 prophecies at the same time by stacking them. Obviously, you’ll need a lot of startup currency to do this, but it is extremely worth it.
