God of War Ragnarokis just around the corner, and Sony is bringing some of the game’s biggest characters toSackboy: A Big Adventureto celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated title.

God of War Ragnarok will be released on November 9th, and early reviews have already made it the second-best-scoring game of this generation.Elden Ringis still holding firm in the first position, but God of War Ragnarok is just 2 points behind as per the Metacritic ratings. With the game just a few days from launch, fans eagerly await to embark on a journey against the Norse gods.
Amidst that, Sony has announced that a number of characters from the God of War franchise will be making their way into Sackboy: A Big Adventure. The likes of Kratos, Atreus, and Freya will be available in the game as skins on the 9th of November, the same day God of War Ragnarok releases. The design of these cosmetics has already made a number of fans excited, as they seem to be absolutely in love with the soft toy reincarnation of team Kratos. That’s not all, the best part is that these cosmetics will be available in the game absolutely free of cost to all players who own the game.
This is not the only time that popular characters from other franchises have arrived in Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Fans have witnessed characters from Uncharted, The Last of Us, and Horizon previously, so it was only about time until characters from one of Sony’s most successful franchises made their way to the game. While Kratos and Atreus have been the main protagonists of the God of War reboot, Freya had been a handy companion in the first game before things turned sour towards the end. It will be interesting to see how the relationship between Freya and the father-son duo develops when God of War Ragnarok releases later this week.
