As you might have gathered from your time in 15th Century Bohemia so far, the J-man upstairs is a pretty beloved religious figure in this neck of the woods. This means that a lot of quests have a certain spiritual tinge to them.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Script The Longest In Game History Claims Director

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s script is said to be the longest in game history according to its director.

That is true of the wild and wacky quest, The Magic Arrow. A quest that sees you track down a magic arrow that allegedly served as an enchanted aid for a certain bandit, making them a force to be reckoned with in battle.

Obviously, it’s a load of tripe, but those born eons ago, including our protagonist Henry, can’t say for sure. So, if you want to either debunk this myth or add fuel to the fire, here is how you can go about it.

How to Start The Magic Arrow

This quest can be picked up at the Devil’s Den Tavern. Inside, you will find a band of bandits who have a job to offer anyone who isn’t too proud to do a little grave robbing. Which if you’re a returning KCD player, you’ll know Henry isn’t above doing it if necessary.

They’ll inform you that there’s a magic arrow that can help them become more fearsome in battle, but the problem is that it’s still lodged in their former leader’s head.

Speaking To Pasha KCD2

They inform you that he’s likely buried in the Sedletz Monastery, and you’ll need to dig him up and claim it.

Talking To The Gravedigger

While you could wander aimlessly around the Monastery, you’ll be unlikely to find the exact grave you’re looking for without a little assistance, so on your way to Sedletz, I suggest you pay a visit to the Gravedigger up on the nearby hill.

If you do, you’ll be able to discuss the possibility of witchcraft and sorcery at play. But more importantly, he might tell you where the poor sod is buried.

You’ll need to pass a skill check, but you’ll have multiple options, so just pick the most likely one and hope for the best.

There are so many games to choose from, and with that comes the underrated gems that get left in the dust.

If you succeed, he will inform you that he wasn’t buried in the hallowed grounds at all, but instead in a grave on the other side of the wall. After this, simply head down the hill and head to the site.

Speak To Hare KCD2

Digging Up The Body

Once at the gravesite, you’ll need to dig the former Bandit Leader up and get the arrow. Firstly, if you don’t have a spade in your inventory, be sure to lift the nearby spade, and then start digging.

This will reveal the body, and then you will have three options. You can either carefully remove the arrow, forcefully remove the arrow, or bash in their head to get to the arrow.

Kingdom Come Deliverance

I know it sounds like a recipe for disaster, but the best option is to cave their skull in, as this will remove the arrow cleanly without any damage.

Having retrieved the arrow, you may then make your way back to the Devil’s Den Tavern to turn in the quest, or so you might think.

Dealing With Hare

When you return to the tavern, you’ll realize that the group of bandits are no longer boozing and have gone back to their camp, but they sent a representative to meet you and take you back to their camp.

Hare will agree to take you, but be sure not to give the arrow to him there and then.

You’ll set off toward camp saying nary a word, but once in the open field nearby, Hare will turn to Henry and plead with them to give him the arrow. Their reasoning being that if Pasha gets the arrow, he’ll end up getting them killed on account of his hubris.

If you give him the arrow, that will end the quest there and then, and you’ll receive no reward for your efforts, so I wouldn’t advise that.

Instead, you can either pass a skill check to have Hare stand down, which will see him slink off to reportedly form his own band of bandits. However, if you fail, you’ll need to fight him.

Don’t panic if this happens, as he’s not all that tough. Then, once he’s dealt with, you may head to the camp, which is located in the most eastern area of the quest-marked section of the map.

Dealing With Pasha

Upon finding the Bandit’s Camp, you may finally speak to Pasha and give him the Arrow that he desires. However, he’s not quite done with you yet.

To complete your duties in this quest, he’ll ask you to take the arrow and shoot him in the head so that the godly benefits can be transferred from them to him.

This leaves you with two options. You can either refuse and try to talk some sense into them, which is a hard skill check, or you can agree to shoot them in the head.

Shooting them is a rather rewarding option, as you’ll be given a unique crossbow, Pasha’s Crossbow, and you’ll get to shoot him dead, leading to the others fleeing in fear. Which is not only hilarious, but also allows you to pick the camp clean.

However, if you go with the skill check option, you can either stop Pasha from being voluntarily shot in the head or, more likely, due to the difficulty of the skill check, have him and his band of Bandits turn on you.

I would personally suggest you shoot the guy, and take the new crossbow as a fitting reward. And when you do, this will end this strange quest.
