The series comes fromSpider-Man: HomecomingdirectorJon Wattsand writer Christopher Ford, who serve as the creators. The episodes will be directed by some famed names, including The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) and David Lowery.

However, fans areskeptical of the seriesafter the disastrous outcome ofThe Acolyte. The earlier series from Leslye Headland faced significant backlash fromStar Warsfandom for allegedly ruiningGeorge Lucas‘ lore. The perception that it was a “woke” show did not help the outcome of the series.
With a budget of $180 million, the series did not manage to garner enough viewers to justify that budget.
