Ubisoft has announced via a short gameplay trailer that the latest installment in the series, Just Dance 2023, will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on November 22. The game will also be available on Google Stadia at a later date.
The announcement came as part of the Ubisoft Forward 2022 event, which also includes a new gameplay trailer forSkull & Bones, the last chapter ofAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, and new gameplay footage fromThe Division Heartland. For the first time in the series since its initial release back in 2009, Just Dance 2023 will feature an online multiplayer mode, allowing players to group up and dance together no matter where they are. As also claimed by the publisher, Just Dance 2023 will have an overhauled user interface that would let players access anything with just one click.

Going into more details on the new multiplayer mode, players will be able to create online games with up to five players. All group members will need to be connected to the internet, and these online groups will feature cross-play, allowing players on different consoles to play together. The revamped dance-on-demand platform will assist users in becoming accustomed to the new dance moves earlier than expected. Ubisoft assured fans that the game will continue to receive new content, including new songs, game modes, and themed seasons after its launch on November 22. Last but not least, Just Dance 2023 includes new songs by Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, and Justin Timberlake.
Just Dance 3 features an improved recommendation system, offering newcomers personalized playlists and songs that they can find in the main menu. The developer team pursued a new art direction when creating the game, which made its 3D world more innovative and immersive than in previousJust Dancegames. Another new feature of the upcoming rhythm game is that players will climb up the ranks in a new progression system as they accumulate in-game currency to customize dancer cards. The option to customize dancer cards will be introduced on Just Dance 2023 for the first in the series. It was also revealed that the in-game currency can be used to unlock emote stickers, which players will use in online multiplayer mode to interact with each other.
Players can now pre-order the Switch version of Just Dance 2023 for $59.99 on theUbisoft Store. It is still unknown when exactly pre-orders for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be available. Just Dance 2023 will launch on August 12, 2025.
