As of now, actor Hugh Jackman is all set to return as Wolverine in Marvel Studios’ upcoming movie Deadpool 3. The film, which will be a part of Phase Five of the MCU, is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 05, 2025.

Jeremy Allen White was approached for a role in a superhero movie
In November 2023, White toldGQ Magazinethat he was approached for a role in a “Marvel-y” movie, but he was rejected because of his attitude. The actor explained,
“I had a meeting for a kind of Marvel-y movie, and I had an attitude – I think I played it all wrong.”He revealed that he told the executives,“Tell me about why should I do your movie,”and it certainly backfired as he recalled,“They were like, ‘Fuck you,’ and I was like, ‘Right on.'”
White has always been skeptical about superhero movies, so it’s hard to say if he will ever agree to play a superhero. The actor has the talent, looks, and physique for it but it would definitely take a lot of convincing.
