Is the biggest power couple of all time finally ending things for good or is the rumor mill at it again? Something we never thought we’d hear is being talked about everywhere – Michelle and Barack Obama’s divorce. They got married back in 1992 and have delivered some serious couple goals since then but reports seem to claim that their days may be over, especially if Jennifer Aniston is involved.
There is always a third person linked to separation rumors between a couple and this time it happens to be none other than theFRIENDSstar, Jennifer Aniston. As rumors continue to circulate, there was no chance American journalist Megyn Kelly was not going to hop on the discussion with her own two cents.
Is Jennifer Aniston the end of Michelle and Barack Obama?
All it takes is something a little out of the ordinary for the rumor mill to start churning out claims upon claims. Thus,Michelle Obama‘s absence from two major public events has ended up raising rumors about her marriage toBarack Obama. Firstly, she did not attend former PresidentJimmy Carter‘s funeral and secondly, she was absent fromDonald Trump‘s inauguration.

Now,Megyn Kellywasjoined bythe hosts of theRuthlesspodcast and the group discussed the speculations revolving around the Obamas. Kelly first referenced aSubstackpost made by Jessica Reed Kraus on the whole ordeal.
She read out,
Michelle Obama’s absence at Jimmy Carter’s funeral certainly raised some eyebrows, but yesterday’s announcement that she won’t be attending Donald Trump’s inauguration confirmed something is definitely going on between her and Barack.
Kraus also added that there have been whisperings about their rocky relationship for over a year but the former First Lady’s absence from these two events feel like the“first public proof of a marriage on the rocks.”
Kelly then read out the part where Kraus linkedJennifer Aniston‘s name to Barack Obama and a DM she received which read,
‘He’s with Jennifer Aniston. My old manager, now a friend, is connected to her inner circle. At a gathering with Jennifer’s friends, the affair came up casually—Jennifer herself admitted it. They were sitting with a psychic, which makes it sound surreal, but it’s definitely not a secret among her closest friends.’
It is worth noting that as per Kelly, Aniston has denied the allegations stating that she doesn’t even know the man that well and has hung out more with his wife than him. A rumor about an affair between Aniston and the former President was certainly not on our 2025 bingo card!
Are the Obamas headed towards a divorce?
Well, we cannot say anything with certainty but the reports do seem to be strongly in the favor of a separation. Kelly brought up the words of podcaster and daughter of late US politician John McCain, Meghan McCain in front of theRuthlessgang.
McCain joined Puck’s senior political correspondent Tara Palmeri on the podcast,Somebody’s Gotta Win,and the two had a lot to say about the supposed divorce that is on its way.

McCain revealed that she had heard about the separation from“reputable sources”and“seriousjournalists.”In her words,
I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people. I’m not talking about TMZ. I’m not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him, he’s my friend.I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true.
Palmeri chimed in stating the she, too, has heard the rumors even before the inauguration sparked the controversy. She also said that people have told her that the Obamas are“living separate lives.”
On the other hand, while Kelly herself does not know if the rumors are true or not, she rightly believes that their separation would be a“political earthquake in Democrat circles.”
As for the Obamas, the patriarch of the family posted a birthday message for his wife on hisInstagrama few days ago. Well, all there’s left to see is what’s in store for the Obamas and whether or not Aniston’s name is being wrongfully added to the whole debacle.
