It has been a productive few days forHelldivers 2, with the player count beginning to rise after the recent announcement of a big update coming on August 6th. Players are now asking for a few changes that could be implemented before this update.
After the recent major order was completed by theHelldivers 2community, Arrowhead Game Studios rewarded players with a free stratagem they could use within their deployments, however, this gift has brought up some issues the player base has with the game.
Helldivers 2 Players Are Hoping This Free Gift Could Lead to Some Changes Within the Game
Since its release,Helldivers 2has been achaotic and fun game to play, and the main reason for this is the stratagems that players can utilize throughout their deployments to help clear out the swarms of enemies that stand in their way.
One of these stratagems involved summoning a mech known as the Emancipator, which can be used to traverse the map and deal devastating damage to enemies, depending on which mech is being used at the time.

At the time of writing, there are only two types of the Emancipator mech: one that uses a machine gun and autocannon, and one that solely uses two autocannons.
Unfortunately, since their release a few months ago, players have come across an issue that at the time led to numerous crashes within the game, and that was when players would have too many mechs active at one time.
This led to the limitation that only one mech stratagem can be equipped per person, but with this free gift, this may no longer be the case and could be a potential fix, which has sparked the question from one particular Reddit user.
According to Reddit user, TheMightyPipe, this free gift is evidence enough that Arrowhead Game Studios has been working on this issue and that the game can now handle multiple mechs at one time.
Is Arrowhead Game Studios Hinting at a Potential Change With Mech Stratagem Limits?
Due to this recent free gift from Arrowhead Game Studios, there are plenty of players already wondering whether or not this is a hint of a potential change to the mech limits and could soon lead to more mechs being used within the game.

Another player jumped on the bandwagon of this comment, and they also said that this is proof Arrowhead is updating the systems and is now testing them to see how they work.
At the moment, these gifts are simply gifts from Arrowhead for doing a good job.
But it has already begun some rumors that more mechs and vehicles will be coming to the game, which would explain this test.
