Bradley brings up the feeling you get when you are killed in the game and sees the blood dripping down the screen. Many players will remember this well given how difficult the game could be. But make no mistake, this game was revolutionary. If not for Goldeneye, then we wouldn’t have some of the FPS games we have had in current times.

Goldeneye brings plenty of nostalgia.

In ourreview of the Nintendo 64 title, many fans will no doubt feel some nostalgia regarding the 1997 game, which is still held in the hearts of many gamers. For those who haven’t experienced the game, where have you been? Go to a retro arcade and discover what it’s like for yourself.

Sure the graphics are boxy and don’t compare to anything you’ll see in modern games but that is part of the appeal. You don’t need amazing graphics to enjoy a game like this and for many gamers who experienced it when it first released, the multiplayer option was one of the big draws.

In a time before online gaming, you could have had your friends sitting around the TV, each with their controller and a split-screen competition of absolute carnage. Whilst it has been well over 25 years sinceGoldeneyewas released, the nostalgia of the game still holds for fans and many players would be more than happy to load up the game to experience it all over again.
