According to the Japanese blogryokutya2089, one of the next characters coming to Arc System Works’Dragon Ball FighterZmight just be Goku fromDragon Ball GT.The information appears to have leaked from upcoming Japanese magazines. Of course, this may come as a disappointment to some fans as there are already three Goku characters included in the 34-character roster. This would be the first time theDragon BallGTseries would be getting any representation inFighterZ,and as many fans probably know, theGTtimeline is not canon anymore.
InDragon Ball GT,Goku is reverted back into a child throughout the large majority of the series. Strangely enough, he does revert back into an adult when he achieves Super Saiyan 4, and then back to a child when going to his base form. It’s a bit weird. But Super Saiyan 4 is genuinely cool so that should be neat to see withDragon Ball FighterZ’sabsolutely gorgeous visuals. It seems a bit odd to take onGTGoku as opposed to the lovable and true Kid Goku from the original canonicalDragon Ballseries.GTtakes place years after the last episode ofDragon Ball Zand is widely considered the weakest part of the franchise. I loved it as a kid but have never delved back into it since then. I’ll never forget Vegeta’s mustache…
