Starfieldmay have been released for well over 9 months, and there have been various patches to the game since then. With the latest update being branded as their biggest to date, it promises to address a majority of aspects of the game which fans have been crying out for.
Bethesda’s space exploration game is the first new universe created by the developers in over 25 years and with it comes a whole new experience for gamers who strive to explore the galaxy. However, as with most aspects of video games, really it appears that you cannot please everyone and this is evident from recent comments on the games’ subreddit.
What’s In The Latest Starfield Update?
Judging by comments on theStarfieldsubreddit, fans of the game are looking for one serious issue to be addressed with the latest update. Whilst it has been confirmed that more detailed surfacemaps will be introduced alongside a world map,many players would rather see one more important aspect introduced.

Comments on the post went on to describe how infuriating it is that there is no differentiation between food and medicine. These items much like inFallout 4are bundled together in the same category, which means that players have to spend considerable time scrolling through a list to locate an item.

Some players highlighted that Bethesda were well known for having an annoying inventory system with their titles,Fallout 76being the only exception. However, it was pointed out that this title was developed by Bethesda Austin rather and that was the explanation for how the inventory system differed.
Starfield Update Due To Launch Today
The latest update forStarfieldis due to launch today (15 May) at 4 pm BST UK and with it comes promises of updates to visual options and new gameplay settings. The latter may be the most appealing for fans as there are several new customization options to enhance the gaming experience.

Some of the features include being able to access ship cargo from any location, there is also the ability to increase carry capacity and vendor credits. The effects of environmental hazards and food can also be altered to affect the gameplay as well. It appears that there is plenty for fans to be excited about following this update.
Starfieldhas always been regarded as a passion project for Bethesda and it is hoped that the latest update would address some of the issues that fans had with the title. However, judging by the comments on the games subreddit, there are still some issues that fans would like looked at by Devs. Could this possibly happen in the future, no doubt fans will have to wait and see.
