Foxx emphasized that this special was a form of artistic expression, a way to narrate a story that had gone terribly wrong. What hit hardest was his admission of betrayal, specifically feeling deceived by a“fake friend”. He wanted to make it clear that despite the rumors and assumptions swirling around him, there was much more beneath the surface.
