According to reports fromNBC News, previously in 2023, renowned singer Lizzo was accused by three of her former dancers of discrimination and harassment at the workplace. Filing a lawsuit, the dancers also accused the singer of creating a hostile work environment. The lawsuit noted how the singer pressured one of the dancers to touch a nude performer at an Amsterdam club.

The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, which also accused the captain ofLizzo’s dance team of deriding those who had premarital sx while sharing lewd sxual fantasies and publicly discussing the virginity of one of the victims. The singer was alsoaccused of fat-shaming her dancers. The lawsuit named Lizzo, her production company, and Quigley as defendants.
Following this lawsuit back in 2023, Lizzo’s appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards sparked controversies. Seemingly infuriating many, the singer’s appearance and presentation at the awards show also enraged lawyer Neama Rahmani, who is representing her alleged victims. “If a White man faced the same sort of s*xual harassment, racism, and fat shaming allegations … he doesn’t think there’s any way they’d be afforded the same opportunity Lizzo got.”
Lawyer Rahmani openly claimed that he believes the Grammy Awards is turning a blind eye to Lizzo’s controversies. He believes the sole reason behind such wickedness is because she is a woman. Infuriated by the discrimination at the Grammy’s the lawyer is upset that they invited her amid the claims against her.
Meanwhile, Neama Rahmani is confident the truth will come out, and the result will prompt the Recording Academy to start believing in the brave souls who stood against the renowned pop singer.
